Phlebotomy Technician
Pre-Requisites: None
The course provides the students proper procedures on blood collection, handling of equipment and supplies, complications of phlebotomy, and professional issues on quality assurance, interpersonal communication, and management.
The course provides students the theory and practical training in obtaining adequate and correct blood specimens by capillary or venipuncture methods as well as learning patient rights, infection control, universal precautions, taking patient vital signs, and the responsibilities of phlebotomy technicians.
Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

EKG Technician
Pre-Requisites: None
This course is designed in providing students with an overview of basic cardiovascular terminology, anatomy, and physiology with a focus on the proper placement of electrocardiogram (EKG) leads and maintenance of equipment to obtain an accurate 12-Lead EKG as well as learning to recognize cardiac arrhythmias and the responsibilities of ECG/EKG techinicans.
Upon passing, students will receive a Certificate of Completion.

New York Real Estate Salesperson Qualifying Course
Pre-Requisites: None
In order to qualify for licensure as a real estate salesperson, an applicant must have satisfactorily completed a 75-hour salesperson qualifying education course in real estate approved by the Secretary of State, and have passed a qualifying examination administered by the Department of State. An applicant who completed the 45-hour salesperson qualifying course prior to July 1, 2008 may complete the 30-hour remedial course in order to qualify for licensure.

New York Real Estate Broker Course
Pre-Requisites: 2 years experience as a licensed real estate salesperson or 3 years experience in the general real estate field
In order to qualify for licensure as a real estate broker, an applicant must have at least two years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson or at least three years of experience in the general real estate field, or a combination of the both, meet the minimum points required for the experience type, (e.g., buying and selling your own property, managing property owned by your employer), have satisfactorily completed both the qualifying salesperson course of 75 hours and an additional 45-hour real estate broker course as approved by the Secretary of State, and have passed a qualifying examination administered by the Department of State

The course will focus on grammar usage, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for students to function satisfactorily in most real-life situations related to immediate needs. In addition, the course will focus on enhancing skills needs in conversations beyond survival needs to function independently and in familiar and unfamiliar social situations and familiar work situations. Accordingly, the course will focus on fluency and communication skills as well as more complex structures, U.S. cultural values, and thinking patterns through discussions, readings, and writings.

Level I - Absolute to Low Beginners
Pre-Requisites: None
The course provides students with English skills to understand frequently used simple words, phrases, and sentences (often reiterated) in relation to everyday scenarios and answer to basic questions using the acquired words, phrases, and sentences.
Also, the course enables students to identify, read, and write numbers and letters in addition to completely write basic personal information and in workplace forms. Technical skills are incorporated into instruction whenever possible.

Level II - Beginning High
Pre-Requisites: Passed Level I
This course provides students with English skills to comprehend basic learned phrases and to ask and answer questions using such phrases.
Moreover, the course enables students to read and understand basic materials on common subjects with regular vocabulary and to write simple remarks on familiar circumstances. Students will be able to translate simple directions and schedules in English.
Finally, the course prepares students to carry out usual job tasks which include some written and/or verbal English communication. Technical skills are incorporated into instruction whenever possible.

Level III - Intermediate Low
Pre-Requisites: Passed Level II
The course provides the students the essential English skills to face basic survival and social needs in English and for the students to communicate about familiar topics in a descriptive mode.
Also, the course enables students to read writings on familiar subjects with clear main ideas and to write very minimal paragraphs in addition to acquiring the skills to complete work-related forms and to access community services using basic technology.

Level IV - Intermediate High
Pre-Requisites: Passed Level III
The course provides students with skills so they can perform on their own initiatives to face a lot more survival needs in English.
Furthermore, the course enables students to read simple statements which require simple interpretations and write simple narrations (showing fewer grammatical errors) along with improving the ability to converse on the phone about common topics.
By the end of the course, students will be able to demonstrate the ability to interact with one another to discuss work or civic duties and to write important notes from the discussion.

Level V - Advanced Low
Pre-Requisites: Passed Level IV
The course provides students to understand and join effectively in most daily social and work situations in English and enables students to read original materials on everyday subjects and to express ideas verbally and in a written manner with slight grammatical errors.
In addition, the course will guide students in the ability to use basic ideas in complex forms, to clarify difficult interpretations, and to understand most conversations and other means of communication.
In conclusion, the course will prepare students to tackle various job or community scenarios with an emphasis on career growth.

Pre-Requisites: Passed Level V
The course provides students to remarkably improve listening comprehension, speaking, and note-taking skills; to write (short simple, compound, and complex) sentences without significant errors and to construct clear short paragraphs; to further improve (advanced low-level) reading skills through review of given articles; to speak properly and deliver well-structured dialogues in class.
